Bright lights and colors surround the area, and you can feel the energy in the air. The instruments being played, and the voices of young talented singers balance each other out. The performers have worked long and hard, their voices hit every note and their steps are perfectly aligned. Even though the five stars are only kids, they’re disciplined. Especially the lead singer, who is only eleven years old.
The lead singer was Michael Jackson, and his band was Jackson 5. The group was brought together by his father, and consisted of Jackson and his older siblings. In 1994 Jackson, the King of pop, asked to marry Lisa Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Their marriage lasted two years, they had problems and divorced. He later married another woman, Debbie Rowe, and had three children. His children speak fondly of Jackson, even though he was a famous popstar they say he still made time for them and he was a great, loving father.
Jackson had a lot of things going on at the same time, taking care of his family, parenting children, and managing an influential career, so he probably was overwhelmed at times. His last performance was the day before he died. His death was unpredictable, it was, unfortunately, due to drugs. It’s debated whether or not it was Jackson’s fault. He had a personal doctor who medicated him, and many people think his doctor purposefully poisoned him. He could have overdosed on his own account though, he was, for the most part, addicted to painkillers.
