(15)The gangsters used violence to conquer and protect their territories. Also, the leader of a gang would lose his life if he refused to give his territories to his opponents after he lost the fight. In the movie, Michael realized that other crime families wanted to kill the Godfather and took all authority from Corleone family. Michael created a plan and waited until a prefer time to take action. Finally, Michael’s revenge was successful and all of his targets were dead. The Gangsters had their power to control their territories and the government could not use the law to punish because they have a way to avoid “breaking law”. For example, the leader could use the money to hire people to kill the targets or they could buy the scapegoat to commit all the crime. As Warshow said, “The gangster is the man of the city, with the city’s language and knowledge, with its queer and dishonest skills and its terrible daring, carrying his life in his hands like a placard, like a club.”(13) The gangs were a group of the people who might use a different way to satisfy their desire and reach their goals. Thus, the gangsters could use their way to solve the
