Michael Collins And The Apollo 11 Space Mission

Most people don’t know who Michael Collins is. Renee Klahr from USA Today calls him "The forgotten astronaut", which unfortunately he is. Michael Collins was apart of the Apollo 11 space mission, which would end up holding the first man of America to walk on the moon. Michael Collins' job was to stay in the aircraft while the other two men (Armstrong and Aldrin). It was always a wonder to me what he felt like in those moments when his partners were going towards the moon and he was left all by himself. What did he think about? What kind of things was he feeling? This always interested me because not knowing whether someone is going to live or die or not knowing at all must be a lot of pressure for one person.
