He does much of this on a daily basis. In addition to all of the objectives listed above Michael is responsible for maintaining an ongoing tracking log of the number of assignments received and assigned out to region 3 staff, rover staff and reassessor staff. He is responsible for screening 25 to 40 requests for in home services per day. He is then responsible for ensuring equal distribution of those assignments to all of the above mentioned staff. He is responsible for sending a daily report of where the staff is to alert supervisors when a staff person may be becoming overwhelmed and he has to use his judgment to alert management when he believes that changes need to be made in the rotation of the work. Michael is always looking for new ways to improve efficiency in assigning work and he is always looking for better ways to distribute the assignments to ensure the best possible outcome for those case actions. Michael is passionate about his job and tends to express his dissatisfaction with situations with others in the office and sometimes it is not in a private setting. These occurrences have reduced over the past year, but Michael still needs to work on not allowing his emotion to affect how he relates with others in the business setting.
Michael is always sending new resource information when he comes across it. He is very good at evaluating a situation and determining where he believes changes should be made and he shares this information with Management. Michael participated in the National Disaster Response Exercise that was held this year. He provided valuable input and understands his role in the event of a Natural Disaster.
