The Miami River Cops
The River cops scandal took place in the mid 1980’s in Miami Florida. On July 1985 its mysterious homicide right from the start. There were three bodies floating on the Miami River. The two bodies belonging to drug dealers and one to a Columbian officer. They weren’t shot nor beaten. They were just floating as if they drowned and that cause a suspicion to rise. What could have happened to them? This caused both the city and the nation into shocked. It started a lengthy investigation because they had found the bodies dumb in the river behind the Jone boat Yard. When the officer bought out the bodies from the river they had discover all three men had between $800 to $1,000 dollars on their pockets. In July 29, 1985 the CEN TAC were called for a crime scene that seems routine, but things didn’t make sense. They received a call that three bodies were found floating in the Miami River. Later that night they receive a call from the night boat watcher told them about few nights before there was a knock on the door. The men claim to be the police officers. About ten to twelve police officers entered the boat yard and rushed to a boat called Marry Sea. The crew jumped into the water and tried to swim away. The police officers unloaded something off the boat as they were leaving. The officer tried to explain to the CENTAC that he didn’t know what was happening to just take a look what was on the boat. So the CENTAC try to put the puzzle the clues together. The officers (CENTAC) called every police department to try to connect the clues to what took place that night. No one has done any operation in or out around that
