The Miami didn’t live in teepees like some Indian tribes. They lived in tiny oval houses with walls of woven reeds. Each tribe had a humunguous wooden house used for the council of the tribe.
Did not wear traditional headdresses. Miami women wore their hair long or put it in a bun. Miami men usually put their hair into mohawk style and wore a porcupine brooch. Both men and women tattooed themselves. Children would make toys to keep themselves busy out of natural things that they found.
Common Miami food crops included corn beans and squash. Miami men also hunted buffalo for their skin
