According to, “Invitation to the Life Span” “Young children are language sponges, they soak up every verbal drop they encounter, mastering vocabulary and grammar at a rapid pace (page 182).”. Mi’Chaela abilities is that she is quick to learn and catch on to word easy. When I was asking her if she want ice cream she would said, “yeah I want ice cream.”. Another way I can tell that she is good at conversation is I would say Hi to her and she will say hi back. Then I would ask her how was she doing, and she would say good. I also saw that if Serena was doing something Mi’Chaela did not like she would say, “Rena (nickname for Serena) no.” Then Mi’Chaela will tell on her with words and pointing to Serena. If Mi’Chaela had a blanket over her head and I would ask, “where is Mi’Chaela?” She will pull it down so I can see her. According to Piaget, “By 2 years, children fully understand object permanence progressing through several stages of ever-advanced cognition (page 115).” This is great that she understands object permanence before she had turn three, this let me know that her brain development is on
