She was then assigned to Davis Montham AFB, 355 Logistics Readiness Squadron where she was awarded the 2004 ACC Logistics Plans Professional of the year. From Davis Monthan, she moved to the 353 Operations Support Squadron, Kadena AFB where she was selected as the Superior Performer for the 353rd Special Operations Group’s 2007 Unit Compliance Inspection, along with her Training Program being formally recognized as a Benchmark for the Command. She was then reassigned to Lajes AB, 65th Logistics Readiness Squadron, where she served in a variety of positions to include the President of the Parents Advisory Council and Community Outreach lead for AFSA. SMSgt Velsor continued her excellence in achievements winning the the 65th Air Base Wing NCO of the year 2010 as well as the USAFE Logistics Plans NCO Professional of the year 2010. She was then reassigned to Cannon AFB with the 27th Special Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron, where she was awarded the AFSOC SNCO Logistics Planner of the year 2011. SMSgt Velsor continued to add to her accolades, being selected as a Distinguished Graduation at the SNCO Academy in 2013, and playing a key role in her flight winning the Chief Etchberger
