Since my junior year in high school, I have had the opportunity to work at MGH. It has been rewarding because I have gained valuable experiences that many people my age do not have. Therefore, in order to continue to grow and gain more experience I want to work another summer in a different position. Somewhere where I can increase my knowledge and meet new people in a different area of expertise. I am positive I will have a rewarding experience at MGH because I always have for the past 2 years. As I am heading towards the medical field for my second year in college I want to have a stronger background at one of the greatest hospital’s in the country. Regardless of which career path, I end up taking I know that I will be in the STEM field. The hospital is the perfect place to obtain the knowledge and experience in any of the stem fields. Therefore, no matter where I end up I can only benefit from taking this opportunity and work at MGH. However, for my long-term career goal of hopefully becoming a nurse, it is crucial to work at a hospital and build up my resume to show that I have the experience to know what I am getting myself into and what is expected of me. Working at MGH, I can talk to professionals in my desired career and learn as much as I can to make sure I am as well prepared as I can be in my journey towards becoming a nurse.
