The country of Mexico is not what it used to be. Mexico has become one of the highest money making countries. Not because of factory jobs, but because of the cartels and their way of moving money. In past years there would be millions of tourists going on a daily basis. Now not so many people go, because of all of the crime that has surrounded Mexico. This country is best known for its criminals and all of the cartels. The cartels have taken over Mexico terrorizing the people that live there and those who visit.

Criminal organizations make so much from hurting all of these victims. Sexual trafficking has become such a big issue around the world. Many countries have laws that prohibit sexual and human trafficking. The laws have become so strict in some countries that if someone is found guilty of sex trafficking they are given the maximum fine which is death. Mexico does have laws regarding sexual and human trafficking. The laws are not so much put in place. When I was reading the articles some said that Mexico has the laws, but as if it didn’t. Mexico does not go to its full extent to punish these organizations. Many families come home just to find out that one of their loved one was taken, and might never return home. People are scared of the cartels around; because they don’t play around, they are not scared to harm anyone. Now in days no one is safe in México. Many people have decided to emigrate to escape from being hurt or even being killed. The immigrants ran to other countries especially to America, since here there are many more opportunities of staying alive.
The sex slaves must bring money in, in order to stay alive. Women must go and sell themselves and bring back the money. Young girls are the ones that are mostly taken for the use of sex trafficking. Younger girls make more money since they have less experience. For some reason, many of the buyers that is what they like, young inexperienced girls. These girls can be the same age of these buyers’ daughters, but they don’t care, they want pleasure.
There have been many cases, of which the police in Mexico raid a place and find many women being exploited. The police later find out that these women were taken when they were very young. Many victims don’t want to return home because of the shame that they feel.
