I believe the most pressing issue facing Hispanics is no one takes us seriously and treat us unfairly. Ever since I was little, I always heard racial slurs about Hispanics. My classmates would talk about how Mexicans need to be deported back to Mexico because we "mooch" off of all the benefits the government grants. My family does not expect or rely on anyone else's help. They would rather earn an honest living and take care of themselves. My dad drives two hours to and from work everyday because he could not find a job close to home that would hire him. He works hard everyday and deserves all that he earns.
