The Gulf of Mexico has over a thousand oil rigs. The Deepwater Horizon is one of the biggest oil rigs on the Gulf of Mexico. In 2010 there was one of the largest oil spills in History. As many oil rigs as there are on the Gulf of Mexico there are frequent spills.
