Research shows that many Mexicans still believe that life in the US is way better than in Mexico and if they had a chance they would migrate to live in the United States. Everyone pursues peace and history teaches that development only comes where peace is in abundance. According to findings by Pew Hispanic Center approximately 55% of all Mexicans who have migrated to the US by 2008 are illegal immigrants. Possibly, the arrival of the immigrants has resulted to social classes changing with the Mexicans now being regarded as the low-income earners of this society. In essence, due to the procedures used to arrive in Arkansas most Mexicans cannot secure better-paying jobs since some lack papers while others are illegal immigrants and as such most firms cannot offer them any employment. The state of desperation that kicks in forces such individuals to accept any form of employment so that they can earn the little they need to survive in this new land they now call home (Garcia 2003). Working as laborers in manufacturing firms and other industries helps them earn enough to eat but does not allow them to save and as such most of them opt to live without some essential services such as better housing and only live in poor housing structures that are at least
