Ideally, the most important thing in a person’s life should be their health. Without proper care complications can arise that will stop an individual from doing anything else. With this in mind, it might be astonishing to think that a lot of people in our city do not have any form of health coverage to help them with the medical expenses that may arise from any unexpected medical complication. It is a fact that a lot of people in El Paso do not have health insurance, the question is why is this the case? Why is such an important aspect of life for every one so disregarded by a great number of people? Do we not value our own health? Do we have priorities other than taking care of ourselves? Factors that contribute to this phenomenon include the Mexico factor, the cost factor and the ignorance factor.
