The one culture that I really wanted to know about was the Mexican culture because it seems to be very vibrant and it caught my interest when I heard about the Day of the Dead. Mexican culture includes their food/eating habits, holidays celebrated, religion, values, art, wedding customs, and literature.

The attire Mexican brides wear is the mantilla style veil instead of the regular veil. A tradition that Mexicans believe in is that it’s good luck if a woman ties yellow, blue, and red ribbons to her lingerie. The ribbons are there to guarantee food, money, and passion for years to come. Grooms have the choice between a regular tuxedo or a short sleeved shirt. The shirt style for grooms is about 200 years old. The design covers both the front and back of the shirt. The presidential style is luxurious of them all. All most all Mexican weddings are held at a Catholic Church. The weddings that are held here are very holy and involved. The couple is considered married for eternity. The bride and groom’s attendants stand or kneel at the altar before them
