Unlike the last song, this particular tune is attributed to the rappers life partner and actually attempts to send a positive message. The homophobic verses in this song were most likely unconscious and unintentional. Despite the fact, certain messages within can continue to be offensive towards those within already marginalized and minority groups, such as gays and lesbians. Towards the end of the song, Method Man raps, “Be on another level of planning, of understanding/ The bond between man and woman, and child/ The highest elevation, cuz we above.” This idea that the highest elevation is the bond between man, woman and child can be very offensive to individuals that do not fit within these black and white categories.
