The Methadone Service provided by this satellite pharmacy is under Ministry of Health's Harm Reduction Program. It is basically to dispense methadone to drug abuse patients. After the pharmacist receives a prescription, they immediately prepare the methadone preparation by making dilution to obtain the required concentration for the patients. To make it easier, the dilution chart is already prepared and they just need to refer to the chart to make a dilution. After they have been prepared, the diluted methadone is poured into the 7 bottles for 7 days of supply. The label is printed and pasted on each of the bottles.
