They compare the girl's mind to the jewellery store because the narrator notes that this girl is pretty, rich and likes to be glamorous. These specified characteristic are also seen in Tiffany & Co’s jewellery and stores. They used it to give the listener background knowledge about the girl and her characteristics, to show the listeners that she is posh and upper-class.
