Mesothelioma Mesothelioma is a dangerous cancer, that commonly attacks the lungs and abdomen in a persons body. The three common diseases for mesothelioma are pleural (forms in the lungs), peritoneal (abdominal cavity), and pericardial (lining of the heart). A lot of medical researcher have studied this cancerous disease and have found that mesothelioma is gradually caused by exposures to asbestos. This was not a common disease, until more industries and mining plantations started to occur. Some jobs are more likely to give a person mesothelioma than other such as shipyard worker, construction worker, chemical plantation worker, insulators, auto mechanics, and industrial workers.
