The interaction in the story is mesmerizing to Dante. He sees her with such beauty that he wanted to be commanded by her. Beatrice wanted to help Dante but didn’t know if it was too late. When they spoke to each other Dante and Beatrice both were filled with joy. Beatrice made a promise to speak kindly and greatly of Dante when she returned to heaven. She then told Dante that the only that we need to fear are the things the have the power to harm. She was not afraid or the burning fires cause they did not hurt her. this interaction was very suprising in how it played out.
