Selene and her twin brother Azure were born literally once in a blue moon. Born to Procellar and Novum Bishop in the kingdom of Mistral, the two had a good life. Their father made plenty of money working at an office job, and they played with their mother all the time. Many a night were spent trying to stay up waiting for dad, only to fall asleep.
To anyone, they seemed like the perfect happy family. In fact, they were. When the children succeeded in not falling asleep until their father came home, Procellar would take them stargazing, pointing out the constellations and the moon for which Selene was named.
Selene was mesmerized by the moon and stars. Like an infinite case of jewels, they cast their wise light over her, filling her brilliant

She would play Huntress with her twin brother in the trees of their neighborhood, fashioning a crude bow from a stick and some string. However, as they grew out of it, the twins remained passionate and fantasized about life as a Huntsman and Huntress. They would come up with endless combinations of their weapons, talking about how they could fight together.
When they came of age, the two siblings decided they wanted to become Huntsmen. Azure forged two twin scimitars, named Ice and Fire, that he used in devastated concert. Selene, on the other hand, tried for a much more elegant weapon. She made Nightingale, a bow that fired arrows infused with lightning dust. Not just regular arrows, mind. These were made of light metal, and could be reused very often. As a result, Selene only carried 5 to 10 in her quiver on her hip.
The twins were a devastating combat pair in school. Selene could turn the tides with a single shot, and when she couldn’t reach the opponent, her brother’s swordwork could take care of it. The two were envied throughout the class, and vicious rumors soon cropped up as it was clear that they were the best. They claimed they were different, especially Selene, because she bore the exceptionally large ears. Azure, however, could pass as a cat
