According to the latest WHO maps and epicurves (2016), from 2012 to 2016, the countries that have declared cases are:
Middle East: Saudi Arabia (KSA), Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Yemen.
Europe: Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, United Kingdom., Africa, Algeria, Tunisia.
Asia: China, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Philippines.
Americas: the United States.

Under the global trend of migration, international regulations and laws on mandatory health screening participation for travelers, as well as the adequate service and facility provision on quarantine, diagnosis and treatment, are essential for the health and safety from the individual to the global level. As their immune system are already compromised, it will be much more difficult for them to combat all kinds of infectious diseases, including MERS-CoV. Therefore, to improve the function of their immune systems, and to keep their positive attitude towards health, are the keys to achieve better outcome during and after treatment. In addition, all public facilities and infrastructures in or near the infectious countries should be regularly disinfected using air spray or cleaning liquid. Policy makers can improve the public hygiene condition with involve behavioral change intervention. For instance, when they enact regulations to ensure nation-wide availability of free sanitizers and soaps in public toilets, they should add marked signs close to the location of those soaps, along with some instructions to teach people when and how to wash
