It's been three days since La Brea schoolgirl Merlena James and police are hoping the public can help in returning her safely to her family.
In a release yesterday, police said James, 13, was last seen at her Industry Lane home around 1 pm Saturday by relatives. On Sunday when searches failed, the Form Two student of Holy Name Convent, Point Fortin was reported missing to La Brea Police by her mothers. James is an Afro-Trinidadian, 5'7" tall, thick physique, dark-brown skin and has long black hair. She was last seen wearing a white sundress and a pair of pink and gold sandals. Anyone with information is asked to call 800-TIPS, the police at 555,999, 911 or any police station.
