Meredith And Meredith Character Analysis

Meredith was just a normal sixteen year old girl living out her highschool days. Meredith was cheer captain dating the school quarterback Dexter. They have only been dating for a while. Rita was Meredith's best friend and also a cheerleader. It’s a friday night so Dexter and Meredith go out together to dinner and bowling. They decided to go To Dexter’s house afterwards and one thing lead to another and they were doing the deed. A few weeks go by and meredith finds out she is pregnant and freaks out. Meredith goes to Dexter's house and tells him she is pregnant with his child. Dexter gets so angry and yells at her saying “it’s all your fault I used a condom”. Dr james sets up a room to begin. Dr james starts the procedure and comes to realize he has no clue what exactly he is doing. Dr.James ends up completing the abortion but he doesn’t know how or Why Meredith is hemorrhaging. Meredith just keeps bleeding and bleeding and eventually she dies. Dr.James freaks out and ends up cleaning up every trace of evidence suggesting he was there and leaves so he is not caught and in trouble. Rita arrives at the building at the time Meredith says she would need to be picked up but she can't see Meredith so Rita waits a while. Rita tries to call Meredith over and over to see what's wrong but Meredith does not answer. Rita decides she should go in and see if it was just taking longer than expected. Rita comes acrossed meredith's body and instantly realizes she's dead. Rita tries to resuscitate Meredith by CPR but it's too late. Rita then called the police and explains everything that has happened. Rita is so shaken by the events that day she tells the cops everything they need to know. They never catch Dr.James. Rita mourns her friend and brings awareness to abortion for the rest of her
