As some of you already know on Sunday, October 8, 2017, I will be taking on a monumental task - running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Why will I be running 26.2 miles, you ask? Because I am a little bit crazy but also passionate about providing a safe and loving home for the children of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.

Your generous gift, and my 29-neighborhood journey of Chicago, will change the lives of children in need. Thank you for helping me cross the finish line in fundraising, and on race day, with your support of this effort.

I see daily the positive effect that the programs at Mercy Home have on the young people who live there. Mercy Home not only helps the youth in residence but supports and encourages whole families and
