I am standing atop of the Astronomy Tower with my best friends on this chilly night. Thankfully, it was clear up in the sky, because we all desperately wanted to get our extra credit assignment complete, as well as study for the upcoming quiz on Mercury. We aligned our telescopes where Mercury was located and looked for the rocky, heavily cratered planet. Not to our surprise, we found the planet right away, and saw a moon-like planet. Mercury (named after the Roman God of Thievery, Commerce and Travel) would look as if there were giant holes (craters) and boulders found spread. Wow! Actually looking at Mercury, I notice that the moon and Mercury look extremely similar, when comparing the two! My friends and I would study the planet for ten
