"Are you hungry?" He asks with a baby voice. "I only have bread and milk with me now, I'm not sure I should give this to you."

Meow? The kitten gets closer to him and he offers his finger for it to play with while he tries to decide if he should bring it home with him. It's just so tiny he feels bad leaving it alone. But what if the mother is near and he separates them?

"Fizzy, come help me with the hollandaise." Their mum demands.
"Yes Fizzy, go help her." He says before he can stop himself.
Fizzy and Jay look at him unimpressed. "You come help too." His mum says and he shakes his head.
"I have to go take care of Coco, feed her and stuff." When his mum turns back to the oven he smirks at Fizzy when she shows him her tongue.
"What's all this noise?" Lottie appears in the kitchen smiling, but as soon as she sees Louis she closes her face. "Oh, you're here."
"Lottie," He starts, but she ignores him to go drink some water from the refrigerator. Fizzy is suddenly quiet, watching the two of them with a sad tilt to her mouth.
"You know I'm allergic to cats, right?" She says, voice hard. Louis immediately puts a protective hand in front of Coco.
