Key Learning Point 4: Don’t seek glory or praise for yourself, but for the organization instead. In doing so, one will leave a legacy built on self-development and development of others.
Key Learning Point 5: Leaders can look outwards at how well their followers are solving problems as a sign of how well they are empowering their subordinates. In this the leader takes responsibility for their followers’ development as the follower will be able to take on new responsibilities.
Key Learning Point 6: First acknowledge who you really are. Decide to lead that person first. Self-leadership, or leading oneself must be a true leader’s first order of business. Understanding that reevaluating self-improvement is a core value. This process is central in the self-development of any good leader. All six of these learning point leads to self-control, self-development, and development of subordinate leaders.
