I guess I just have to look at the situation in reflection knowing hindsight is 20/20 & if I could go back to redo my charting I would have done what I know should have been done in the first place.
Human error, or human mistakes are relevant however avoidable. We all are privy to forgetting things in our day to day life especially while working in a high stress profession.
However the task being a simple one I understand the importance of following the process that is implemented within my job discription.

I specifically remeber askong bridgette the secretary what does shec stand for and i wrote it down in my admission documentation.
I realize that my chart was not completely done from what Erin described. Although I do not know the exact documentmentation that was not done I do have concerns about this happening. I want to be as proficient of A nurse possible.
I realize I was on my final "watch" because of my illness having had to call in sick. My heatlh sometimes gets the best of me. I did not realize that a documentation error was going to terminate me from a job that I have been A loyal dedicated team player and a great nurse at. I love my job and my patients. With that being said I would like for you to take into account the human factor, as well as my professionalism while being employed at Honor Health Deer Valley. I consider myself an asset to the hospital, as well as to my patients. Not minimizing my error in charting, I don't feel that it merits termination.
