Just like in Animal Farm, the animals are waiting patiently until it is their time to strike to rid themselves of the tyrant known as Jones and are thinking about Old Major’s words about how a revolution is to come: “..all the evils of this life of ours spring from the tyranny of human beings…this is my message to you comrades: Rebellion…all men are enemies. All animals are comrades” (7-8). While in the cellar, Clementine is going over everything that has happened which has led her to the cellar again. She feels like a war is going on inside her as well as around her and the only thing she can do is fight back, emphasized by the way she acted when she was trying to be released from the cell to the moments when she ended her life
