From birth all individuals are placed in environments that they must adapt to through all phases of their life. No one person is the same nor will they function the same cognitively. With that being said the mental status will differ from person to person. Especially if a mental or psychological disorder presents itself. Psychological disorders may affect the mental or behavioral patterns in individuals. It may also be perceived as distress or the inability to function in everyday life. Winston Churchill was no different than other brilliant minds throughout history who battled with. But he suffered from Dyslexia and Bipolar Disorder for a majority of his life. Dyslexia presented significant learning difficulties for him, including issues with his speech (speech impediment, stuttering, Lisps). Which he had to relentlessly work on to overcome. Churchill 's had many different obstacles to overcome in his life, but made it no barrier to what he wanted to accomplish. Bipolar Disorder considerably affected how he lived his personal life.
