Most teenagers these days think that caring for their mental health is overrated and not worth their time; but why do you think they are having an overwhelming and stressful time. . .maybe mental self care isn’t as overrated as they thought. During middle school, you really want to care for your mental health, but it is also really important at every stage of life. It is important for teens to care for their mental health by spending less time on social media, thinking positively, and avoiding drugs.

The more time a day you spend with family or friends and away from social media, the more you are mentally healthy. By spending less time on social media you will create good relationships with friends and family. Creating those strong and healthy relationships will help you feel and be more involved, as well as having someone you can trust.
