My interest in medicine resides primarily on traditional neuroscience careers such as psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery, and neuropathology. I have experienced how devastating mental, neurological, and behavioral disorders can be for patients and their families and I am committed to bring all my understanding, skills, and potential for the benefit of those suffering from any of these threatening and incapacitating medical conditions. It is my believe that mental health should be as important as physical health and that clinical researchers should make relentless efforts in understanding the basis of abnormal development, the mechanisms of disease, and to reduce the several side effects of current medical treatments that at times outweigh
