The youth denied being hospitalized for a mental health condition. During the evaluation James denied ever having homicidal intent or ideation. James denied a history of mental health treatment on a residential or inpatient basis. Both the youth and his mother denied James had a history of hospitalization under Baker Act. Ifanise Petit Frere and a male named Michael, a never married couple whose union produced one child. Mrs. Vedrine noted James’ biological mother was incarcerated during the time of his birth and it is unknown who James’ biological father is. James currently resides with his maternal cousin/guardian, Elizabeth Vedrine (02/19/67), cousin Bebinfa Vedrine, 18 Bradley Vedrine, 14 and Christine Vedrine, 12 and Mrs. Vedrine’s husband whom she refused to provide his name for the examiner. Mrs Vedrine noted she became his legal guardian at birth. Mrs. Vedrine noted James does not have a relationship with his biological parents. During the clinical interview with the undersigned James acknowledged he has an adequate relationship with his caretaker, noting she takes good care of him, and tries to keep him out of trouble.
