Our process of connecting an individual with our program is through a referral. The referral is a single-page form document that is completed, then faxed, mailed or emailed to BRC by someone who has identified the defendant as possibly having a mental illness. Referrals can originate from a number of sources such as an arresting officer, family member, judge, jail personnel, prosecuting attorney, public defender or past participants.

Services include in-patient crisis facilities, dual diagnosis programs, residential facilities, ACT Teams, group therapy, outpatient treatment, Psychiatric Emergency Services, case management, housing, peer support, SOAR, Workforce and Education. Our collaborative partner will provide mental health and substance abuse treatment. Substance Abuse and Mental Health: Cheryl Richardson MS, LPC, LCAS-A, CRC, our collaborative partner has been providing behavioral health solutions for over __years, The agency will provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services, including inpatient and outpatient, residential and community based prevention, treatment services and Vocational Rehabilitation. The agency uses Seeking Safety, an evidence based model specifically developed to help survivors with co-occurring trauma and SUD and, crucially, in a way that does not ask them to delve into emotional distressing trauma narrative. This model provides various options for recovery, in keeping with current research and understanding about substance abuse. Supporting Housing: our DT efforts to provide supported housing services for program participants. Principles include: flexible, individualized recovery support services; community integration through affordable, scattered site housing; housing based on individual needs and preferences; and peer support. Supported Employment: Our supported employment team help individuals enter or re-engage with the workforce through competitive employment. Our team assist the participant to actively develop effective employable skills, provide assistance in finding the right job and help to maintain employment in the most satisfying environment.
