Interesting enough the various roles of a social worker is valued in the agency and is expected as part of the job function across all program areas; however, the credentialing of a social worker is not valued. Whether staff is working with infants or seniors, staff actively engage; assess; plan; implement and monitor services for individuals. However, the agency does not require that the employee hold a degree or licensure as a social worker.
