Susanna was released from the hospital but soon met with her family’s psychiatrist. He asked about her not having any bones in her wrist but she claimed they came back once she got home. In a family session Susanna’s mom explained how she rolled off the bed on to the floor and broke her leg when she was a baby. Susanna was put in a body case and strapped down because of her injury. She needed to stay in the hospital but her father had a prior engagement to attend out of town so her parents took Susanna with her. Susanna spent the whole ride taped to the board not being able to more in the backseat of the car. Growing up as an only child Susanna didn't get the attention from her parents that she wanted. Her dad was very successful and her mom made sure to keep up the image that they were the perfect family. Her mom was really critical of her and constantly harassed her about how she was dressed or who she dated.
