Crime is an action that is undertaken that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by state and punishable by law. Punishment is when a crime is committed the consequence that the person should suffer. If a person was to commit a crime there should always be some type of punishment. Depending on the type of crime committed should determine the penalty that should be enforced. At any given time there shouldn’t be any sympathy showed to the committer because it was all premediated before it actually occurred. The intent was malicious and a malicious intent shows that the committer didn’t care to whom they were going after. When you think of prison, the first thing that may come to your mind is gangs. For first time offenders, they should have their own section of the prison devoted to them to avoid being in a gang if they are not already in one. First time offender’s sentence usually doesn’t be as long as the others, but if they were to share the same rooms as the others then this could extend their prison sentence. In prison, you have to abide by the inmates rules when the cops are not around. There will be someone who will be sent on a mission to fight or kill you. This isn’t what first time offenders need because what they could be in prison for may not be their fault. As citizen, we have to, “Love the criminal as a victim and believe in hope”. We must love the criminal no matter what and hope that one day justice will be served. Even though it is hard to forgive, most of us certainly will never forget the crime that was committed. Even with gruesome crime, as a society it will be judged. That is just how the world is now and there’s nothing we can do about it. The least the society where the crime was committed can come together as a unit and show support with or without love and
