Despite the theme of modern and classic literature the themes of which men are portrayed as are vast, while the theme of character development that has surrounds women throughout history followed the same concept, a triangle concept of man being in the center while women being spread in one of two directions. Men in this time period and men in modern literature virginity is not precious to them while for women it is one of the pillars of being a good, modest women. These Goblins are characters from your nightmare. Goblins have also been used in within Gypsy culture. The Goblins trying to taunt the young girls to eat their fruit, which they were warned to never eat. “Goblin Market” has a different characteristic on the common characteristic of women in literature.
