Overtime I have gained many memories that allow me to remember the amazing things that have happened; some sadder than others. For example, back in the day, somewhere in the early 2000s, my grandpa died from cancer that had started in the linings of his lungs. I remember the last time I say him. I was young and had this little plastic doctor’s kit that I always carried around with me wherever I went. I had brought it with me to my grandparents’ house. I ran inside ran up the flight of stairs and ran to the kitchen where my grandma was preparing lunch. I kissed her hello, turned around, exited the kitchen, ran up another flight of stairs, and sprinted down the hall to the master bedroom. My grandpa was lying on his back on the bed. I ran to him and gave him a giant hug. I sat down next to him and told him what I had done that day and what I was doing in school.
