Memory Loss In Finding Dory

Finding Dory, a film by Pixar Animation Studios is about a blue tang fish named Dory, where as a child, she got separated from her parents. She has short-term memory loss, so at first, when she got lost, she tries to look for her parents and asks other fishes for help but the fishes couldn’t help her because when they asked what are you looking for, Dory forgot what she is looking for. As time passed, she completely forgot about her parents. The only thing that she remembers is a song that goes by, “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” Years later, Dory saw a boat cruise over her head and then she accidentally ran into Marlin, a clownfish, who was looking for his son Nemo. Dory decided to help him and after Marlin and Nemo reunited, Dory decides to stay with them at the Great Barrier Reef. During a field trip, Dory, who volunteered to go as an assistant, remembered a flashback of her parents. She decided to go look for her parents, but the problem occurs here. Her short-term memory loss became an obstacle and the only thing that she remembered about her home is that she lived at the Jewel of Morro Bay, California. As she swims into the pipes, she quickly forgets the way she’s going, so she calls to Destiny for help. Destiny asks Bailey to use echolocation to help Dory. Bailey, convinced that it won't work, still tries anyway, and to his surprise, it worked. In the pipes, Dory met up with Marlin and Nemo. She tells them about her parents being in quarantine and how they could be shipped away, so they headed for quarantine. In quarantine, they see the tank of blue tangs and they told Dory that her parents escaped a long time ago to search for her but never came back. Hearing this, Dory becomes sad because she thinks that her parents are dead. Hank retrieves Dory from the tank, but he forgot about Marlin and Nemo. More problems happen
