In the book War Heroes, Voices From Iraq by Allan Zullo, soldiers talk about their memories of fighting in Iraq, and they tell you how they felt like there sadness, and remorse during fighting in a terrible war. They also show you that war is something you don't joke about. This man named Staff Sergeant Daniel Bogart talks about IEDs (Improvised Explosive Device).In the beginning he had remembered seeing men, trucks, supplies, and etc. Now here is a sentence from the book “He had seen first hand what they can do to military vehicles, supply trucks, and fellow Marines,” (32). He right now is in a conflict because he has to worry about two things, and that is getting shot at by enemy insurgents, and worrying about him getting killed by an IED. …show more content…
He also probably encountered this problem among soldiers taking the wrong move or step and a bomb went off. He is referring this to a time this probably happened and he saw with his own eyes.
