I would like to study at Texas A&M to continue my family tradition, for the opportunities it offers after graduation and to be admitted to the dental school with a great education behind me.…

It is hard to have to steer a canoe knowing that the partner in the front must paddle just as hard to keep the canoe moving. Therefore, I had to be patient and work with Amanda to make sure the canoe did not turn around or flip over. I also learned that I need to keep pushing through in life to have a good outcome.…

Helping others has always been a strong passion of mine. In my time, I hope to be able to reach out to as many people as I can and serve them in any way that I can. While attending Oklahoma City University, I plan to study Religion / Youth Ministry so that I may acquire the tools necessary to help youth grow in their everyday lives as well as their faith. After college, I plan to join the Peace Corps and spend time volunteering in a developing country to better the living conditions and education of those less fortunate. I hope you have been having a good school year and a nice holiday break! I have some exciting news. I'm applying for the Coolidge Scholarship which is a scholarship that covers the costs of all four years of undergraduate education for students who are crazy overqualified in everything. I'm not one of them unfortunately, but there are a bunch of smaller awards attached to the scholarship that I am aiming for, including the awards/titles "Coolidge Senator" and "Coolidge Finalist" for good candidates but not the ultimate winners. This is a fantastic opportunity for me as I could really use the scholarship, this would look great for college, and the opportunity itself is great; if I place in any capacity I get a cool free trip down to Washington,…

There are many things in my life that I’ve done that I am rather proud of. These include volunteering, Boy Scouts of America, good grades, and others as well. Camp Hometown Heroes is a free, weeklong, summer camp for the children and siblings of fallen U.S Soldiers. What’s unique about the camp is that the person who died didn’t have to pass away in action.…
