Memorial Day Case Study

Hi, Tara:

As you may know, Greg and Paul Burkard have been working on finding common ground regarding the deposit for the space on the 7th floor, but it appears we are heading towards an impasse. For this reason, Girish would like to have a meeting with Mr. Adams to discuss the issue.

We would like to have everything resolved before Memorial Day so we can begin preparations for moving to the 7th floor at the end of the year. Does Mr. Adams have any availability to meet with Girish in the next week or so? Girish is happy to come to his office to meet.

Your immediate attention is appreciated.

Best,
Cindy

Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital by American journalist Sheri Fink is a very inspirational book because it focused on the events that happened in Memorial Medical Center when the hospital was flooded and had no electricity after Hurricane Katrina struck the city. Time, space, communication, and identity are portrayed throughout the book. These four factors are important in inter-ethnic relationships between patients and health care providers. Being able to identify these factors in a clinical setting, health care providers can provide more efficient care for all patients.…

The Most Striking Period of the Year: Mardi Gras Krewe Remember those bright vivid colors that only show up once a year. Those floats decorated with all different types of creative theme, knowing that as they past none were the same. Those eye-catching outfits, “wild and spunky”, as some would say while some just reminded you of a favorite cartoon character growing up. Music from all different times of the musical era from hip hop and r&b, those classic sounds that you could only get from a family baroque, and the very sound that makes Mardi Gras so special “the jazz”. Although, the best part of all for some is dancing and interacting alongside the marching bands and dancers that would parade down the street playing instruments, singing, and dancing.…

Pictures of pumpkins, still up from last Halloween, hung next to Christmas wreathes and holly.…
