Client Interview Reflection

Directive: We could see that the owners just told him that the company is closing and that he has to inform his co-workers. Interpretations: They all had gathered around and try to assimilate what has happen. Encouraging: because he was trying to help feel his coworkers better and showing them that there is hope. Reflection: we could see that he was reflecting what has happen to this company and why it has happen to him. Open ended question: we could see that his asking himself why this happened to him. Confrontation: we could see that he is trying to realize what has happen and breaking out in a place that he felt comfortable and secure like his parents’ home. That one faces daily with different clients that are from diverse countries and different traditions that they have face all their lives. We as counselor involve in heavy dependence on verbal expressions, emotional, and examination the patient patterns of behavior. I come from a Hispanic culture and we tend to not show our emotions and feelings that we are facing in our life. That we don’t want to show in public just because we don’t want others to know that we are facing any drastic stage in our lives. Also many man keep their problems hidden inside and don’t want to show their emotions. Well I have face one drastic stage in life one of my friends family members die a month ago and she die because of medical negligence. They have taken a life that had a young daughter, son and husband that need her known they face a drastic change in life. We could see that many of this changes had affected their life’s because her husband know is drinking and that poor young daughter is always crying and I don’t know what to do because every time that we meet we try to not mention
