Mrs. Anthony received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Texas. She then continued her education by getting her masters in Accounting. Through my questions, I saw that she was an individual who stuck to her promise. From this I gathered that Mrs. Anthony has the upmost respect for obeying orders and believes in being accountable for her actions. Accountants need to be accountable for their actions and be responsible enough to admit if they have made an error without trying to blame someone else.
Mrs. Anthony additionally showed a passion for taking responsibility. After reading her letter of recommendations, one by her old boss, this became evident. He explained how Mrs. Anthony was always up for a challenge and very meticulous at everything she did. After reading this, I came to the conclusion that Susan craves taking on new projects and does not stop until she has perfected them. Anthony is a subordinate or in charge of a group, her personality suits both settings. As stated before, she craves responsibility and believes in obeying orders. Therefore, as a subordinate, she would stay determined to meet her deadlines accurately and timely putting in as many hours as it took. On the other hand, if she was in charge of a group she would excel too. Due to her meticulous nature, I can see her to be an individual which is intolerant of her subordinate’s failure. I believe this to be a great quality as a manager because you cannot take slack and have to know how to put your foot down so that you do not get taken advantage off. She would push her workers to exceed expectations while completing their tasks by the books.
Like everyone, we all have weaknesses. However, I believe that Susan’s weaknesses are minimal and some may even see them as a strength. The first weakness that I observed was that she seems to do everything by the book and does not like to deviate from what she knows is right.
