Ever since I was in middle school, I always looked up the students who were members of the National Honor Society. They were role models to me because I knew they were smart. What I didn't know about them was the role they played in their community. Not only did they stand as role models in the classroom, they also served others in the community. This included tutoring, serving the less fortunate, and acting as a child of God. I should be selected as a member of the National Honor Society because I well represent the pillars on the society. School is very important, therefore, I put forth all my time and effort towards school work. In the 11 years I have attended school, I have earned nothing less than a "B" on a report card.
