First of all, I would like to state that I am honored to be given the opportunity to become a member of National Honor Society. Receiving the letter letting me know that I am eligible to apply has been my goal ever since I entered high school. NHS does such an amazing job at helping the community, and that is all I have ever wanted to do - help others. Generally speaking, I am more of a behind-the-scenes person. However, taking charge, when necessary, is something I enjoy doing. Taking charge is exactly what I did to create various opportunities for others.
