It is no secret that the United States is one of the most diverse nations in the world. Millions from all corners of the world come to the U.S. to live in this community, where many races and ethnicities seemingly come together as one to create a multicultural community. This may be accurate for some but for many others, it is far from the truth. Thousands of people throughout the U.S. are targeted and racially abused because of their race. I am included in this group, to overcome and cope with this issue I needed the support of my family to guide me and help me make the right decisions. The United States is most likely the largest “melting pot” in the world. As a result of this, many would think that the U.S. would be accepting to all races
