Discuss how Melissa’s communication style impacted the performance of the Italian partners.
Communication skills are very important to everybody no matter where you are. Effective communication within a workplace can determine whether a business, company or individual is successful or not. It is more challenging when you have to communicate to a company and individual with different culture and language. In this case Melissa has to deal with their Italian counterpart. It’s not only language difference but also cultural, behavioral difference presence. Melissa made an effort to understand their Italian counterpart . She feel their frustration of being ignored by their company in the US. She took time to fly to Italy to meet them personally.
